Quite often we are asked: why after algae peeling / or acid peeling / or co2 mask there may be increased inflammation. Let me clarify: Spotwise and if they were not on the skin before.
If your client experiences rashes periodically, you may have noticed that it often prefer the same places.
We’re talking about comedones
Location. Everything is quite simple here. Open and closed comedones prefer approximately the same location on all of us – the T-zone. It is in this area that we have the most sebaceous glands. Therefore, it is on (and around) the nose, forehead and chin that clogged pores are most common. But it may also be that one or more blackheads constantly appear in the same, seemingly random place – for example, on your cheek. In this case, it is possible that it is in this place that you have an enlarged pore, which is constantly filled with viscous sebum. Such expansion could occur due to previous inflammation: the contents of the pimple “stretched” the mouth of the sebaceous gland.
What to do: Wherever your comedones occur, the best way to treat them at home is with AHA and BHA acids. (ZENA Cleansing gel & ZENA Toner)
🚨If we are talking about inflammation
Often large, inflamed papules or cysts appear in the same place. This occurs due to the fact that the inflammation located under the skin forms a “pouch” attached to the sebaceous gland. When the inflammation subsides, the pimple may become almost invisible or completely disappear from the surface of the skin. But the remaining cavity of the “bag” can fill up again and when we do a stimulating procedure (peelings, masks, massage) it can become inflamed.
What to do for inflammation: use anti-inflammatory and antibacterial components – azelaic acid, mandelic acid; you can use salicylic acid locally. After the inflammation has passed, Algae peeling. To treat scars, add SM Refit with microneedling or acids. Stagnant spots – Algae peeling is the best!
